Excess of HLA antigens in a group of women seems to provoke hyporesponsiveness to paternal antibodies. Immunization treatment has been given to many women with unexplained pregnancy losses. After potentiation of the immune response in habitual aborters 75-85% of subsequent pregnancies are claimed to result in healthy term infants.
